Anevia products are used successfully in markets such as broadcasting, tier 1 and tier 2 telecommunications, and in many private and public companies. Anevia’s enterprise products are being used successfully across all continents by hundreds of hotels, cruise ships, airlines, educational facilities, government bureaus and corporations to deploy advanced video services, both live and on demand. Headquartered in France, Anevia is a globally active company with regional offices in the USA, Brazil, Dubai and Singapore.

Telmarc Cable, a leading Philippines CATV and internet service provider, has chosen Anevia’s ViaMotion Streamer as the core of a newly launched wireless multichannel television service being operated from its headquarters in Manila. The service has successfully completed its trial phase and is now being offered on a subscription basis over Wi-Fi.

Founded in 1987, Telmarc Cable has nearly three decades of experience as a cable television and internet systems integrator. Telmarc’s accomplishments include vertical and horizontal connectivity projects spanning a range of industrial and commercial network cabling applications. The company also has expertise in all aspects of network and LAN solutions.

“The Anevia solution was recommended to us by a partner as the market leader in packaging” says Edgardo Paynor, CEO at Telmarc Cable. “Combining ViaMotion Streamer with existing encoders creates a very resource-efficient system. We are currently sourcing about 30 programme channels from satellite. Running on a server in our main apparatus room, ViaMotion Streamer then multiplexes these into a single system for live viewing on mobile phones, tablet computers, laptops or internet-connected television receivers. The total system was very easy to integrate with our existing infrastructure and can be upscaled at any time to accommodate additional channels or an expanding subscriber base. ViaMotion Streamer is easy to operate and practically runs itself.  Our trials with live content have worked so well that we are now planning to add a video-on-demand service.”

“We are very pleased to be partnering with Telmarc Cable is this innovative project,” comments Anevia CEO Laurent Lafarge. “One of the great features of ViaMotion is that it can be deployed quickly without requiring additional hardware. This contract also demonstrates the widening worldwide adoption of ViaMotion as an enabling technology.”
