The audiovisual industry has made the transition to 100% file-based workflows from filming to screening. Videomenthe, a distributor of software solutions dedicated to media file workflows for broadcasters and publishers, is launching Eolementhe, a portal that simplifies the processes involved in the management, broadcasting and editing of media files. Eolementhe makes file transfers over IP easier and quicker, plans the transcoding and quality control processes, and offers a number of secondary features such as loudness analysis and correction, subtitle insertion, etc.

“We have designed Eolementhe for an increasingly competitive market, and it is aimed at all companies that distribute media contents. Eolementhe’s role is to provide them with great flexibility in their everyday activities. For a set amount of time, users can absorb a spike in activity while protecting their investment,” explains Muriel Le Bellac, president of Videomenthe.

Eolementhe lets clients balance and reduce their CAPEX in terms of software purchasing and annual maintenance contract renewal, and helps them limit investments in hardware and software.

The Eolementhe portal can be used for additional tasks, but also to manage the unexpected, e.g. setting up an emergency site or dealing with an exceptional event. Pricing depends on the features needed, the number of users, the volume of data, the bandwidth…
